Columbia Center for the Arts is excited to present our annual
Holiday Market!
Our gallery and retail space will be full of smaller works by local and regional artists. From ornaments and holiday cards, to original paintings, ceramics, limited edition prints, jewelry, and wearable items – we have everyone on your list covered.
Artists are encouraged to make affordable works smaller in scale. (Exceptions apply!)
CCA is taking extra precautions with sanitation.
Eligibility:
The show is open to all mid-Columbia residents who live at least three months annually in one of the following Columbia Gorge counties: Klickitat, Hood River, Wasco, Sherman, Skamania, Clackamas or Multnomah counties. (Exceptions may apply, just ask.)
Application Fee: NONE! Free to Apply!
How to Apply:
Submit Part 1 at the bottom of this page. Upon submission, you will receive an email from Rachael Erickson, CCA Gallery Manager, with instructions for Part 2 - How to submit images of your pieces. Submissions are being accepted now through November 1st.
- All submitted artworks must be created (preferably) within the last two years - exceptions apply.
- All submitted artworks must be ready for display.
- The title of each artwork must be written on the front of the piece or written on a small piece of paper attached to the back of the piece. For items this does not apply to (jewelry, ornaments, etc) they must be labeled clearly as reflected by your inventory form.
As CCA is a nonprofit organization, we are looking for pieces that are saleable and priced for the local art market.
Contracts & Payment to Artists: Artists accepted into the show will be asked to sign a Columbia Center for the Arts exhibition contract, and must submit an Artist Statement at the time of Image Submittal (Part 2 of Application process). The commission sales split is 60% revenue to the artist and 40% revenue to Columbia Center for the Arts. Payments to artists will occur by the 20th of the month following the exhibition.
